Aloha from Oahu.

My plane landed on time in Honolulu. Troi picked me up and we were off snorkeling by 3:00 p.m. You ask, "who is Trio?" He is a teacher living in Honolulu that I met in Japan.

I struggled with snorkeling at first, then I got the hang of it. It was incredible to swim across the reef with colorful fish. I saw a sea turtle, but couldn't get my underwater camera to work. I also swam through a school of yellow fish. I felt like I was being dive bombed by kamakazee fish. I seemed like they would run right into my face mask.

After snorkeling, we went to a sushi restaurant. I tired spam musubi. It was pretty good. It looks easy to make; rice, a slice of cooked spam, wrapped with a seaweed paper. Try it some time.
